Original Iron Art

תום שמואלי הוא אמן ישראלי יליד 1983, היוצר בעיקר בפיסול ברזל לצד רישום והדפס, ומציג את עבודותיו בארץ ובעולם. לאחר לימודי אמנות והתמחות אצל אמנים מובילים, גיבש שפה אישית המתמקדת בנפש האדם, בחיבור לטבע ובתהליכי התכלות וצמיחה. יצירתו נובעת מהתבוננות פנימית ומשלבת השראה מהתנ״ך ומהחיים עצמם, תוך שימוש בחומרים מגוונים. לאורך השנים הציג תערוכות רבות וזכה לתמיכה והכרה מקצועית, לצד פעילות ענפה בתחום החינוך לאמנות. פרויקט הדגל שלו כיום, "ואהבת", נולד מתוך אירועי ה-7 באוקטובר ומבטא מסר של אהבה, ריפוי וחיבור אנושי, אותו הוא גם מקדם דרך שיתופי פעולה חברתיים ותרומה לקהילה.

Today, Shmueli is a creative artist in a studio for artistic creations, mainly using iron cutting techniques, as well as artistic printing, and owns a business that sells his works. His flagship project these days is the creation of "Ve'ahavta" (And You Shall Love) - a work that stemmed from within him and is connected to the events of October 7th, which he sells in Israel and worldwide, and also donates to bereaved families and war victims. A significant part of the "Ve'ahavta" creation is its ethical and social aspect; Shmueli collaborates with families to create various environmental and social projects.

Exhibitions and Projects in Germany

Cross-border connection

Tom's artistic journey expanded to Germany through a partnership with architect and art collector Penu Bruckmann and his wife Monika. As part of this activity, he exhibited in shows, created environmental sculptures, and led art projects in unique locations. The collaboration was born out of a deep personal connection and a desire to create dialogue, healing, and connection through art – and it continues to be a central part of his work to this day.

Sources of Inspiration

The spark within matter

My inspiration comes from the intersection of spirit and matter, of soul and body - from people, from nature, from language and from home. It is also found in the small details and in the beauty of imperfection. Knowing that there is wholeness within me, I choose to create precisely from the human, imperfect place - that is where my art is born.

The studio

A Sanctuary of Matter, Spirit, and Movement

The studio is my second home - a space of creation, prayer, and transformation. Here, I breathe life into metal and create by hand, connecting raw power with the delicacy of the soul. After a journey that stretched from the South to the North, the studio is now located in Moshav Hagor, in the heart of an olive grove - and every creation carries within it the journey, the land, and the connection to humanity.

There are moments that have no words, only presence

Not trying to define, not planning to leave, she is simply there, quiet, exposed, etched in iron, a living reminder of the strength within us to see the brokenness and choose to create love
